NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 2000--Coach Inc., (NYSE:COH) a leading marketer of modern classic American accessories, has announced the opening of a new SoHo store at 445 West Broadway in Manhattan's downtown art and retail district.

"This store embodies the energy and direction of Coach's new image, inspired by the American loft movement of the 1940s and 50s. The modern approach to our new product matches the concept of the store design," said Reed Krakoff, president and executive creative director of Coach.

The 3,100 square foot store, designed by architect S. Russell Groves, is outfitted in satin nickel, ebonized mahogany, white-washed pine and custom poured concrete. It has a sleek and minimal storefront and uses satin stainless steel and frosted glass.

In preparation for the important gift giving season, Coach's SoHo store will feature a full selection of handbags, business and travel cases, outerwear, eyewear, footwear and watches, as well as evening and various small leathergoods and accessories. There will also be selected items from the furniture and home collections.
